Falling into the comparison trap not only distorts reality but also steals our joy.  It diverts our focus from our own unique journey and accomplishments, leaving us feeling like failures.  The constant barrage of "perfection" can erode our self-esteem and make it difficult to appreciate our own strengths and value.
